Six packs are made in the kitchen. If you need some assistance with your nutrition in order to maximise your efforts in the gym or if you are looking to achieve a specific goal contact one of our trainers to see how they can help you.

Personal training

Beginner’s strength

Learn to Lift with Confidence

Hybrid training

Hybrid Training blends multiple training modalities into one dynamic, full-body workout. In this class, we use tools like barbells, kettlebells, TRX suspension training, medicine balls, and bodyweight exercises to build real-world strength, conditioning, and movement quality. Each session is thoughtfully structured to improve strength, mobility, coordination, and work capacity, while keeping training engaging and adaptable. Mace training class

Mace training is strength with intelligence.

Using a steel mace—a long, offset tool—you’ll train the body the way it was meant to move: rotational, integrated, and resilient. Unlike traditional lifts that lock you into straight lines, mace training challenges your grip, shoulders, core, hips, and nervous system all at once.

This class focuses on:

  • Rotational strength and anti-rotation control

  • Shoulder health, stability, and mobility

  • Core strength that actually transfers to real life

Power-Based Indoor Cycling

This is not a “ride to the beat” class. This is measurable, intelligent training.

In this power-based indoor cycling class, you’ll train using watts—the most objective way to measure effort on a bike. Instead of guessing how hard you’re working, you’ll ride in clearly defined power zones, each tied to specific physiological adaptations.

You’ll spend time where it matters:

  • Zone 2: aerobic base building, fat metabolism, and endurance

  • Zone 3: sustainable strength and muscular endurance

I have been practicing yoga in studios and at home for 14 years. Yoga is a combination of different physical postures, breathing techniques, and meditation. I like to teach an embodied yoga practice that connects the mind with the body to help build self-awareness. Yoga can build strength, flexibility, help manage pain, reduce stress, and increase feelings of relaxation. In my yoga classes I like to create a safe, accepting, non-judgemental space where you can explore the different postures.

Lysanne graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2007, and is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia. She relocated to Victoria in 2002 while pursuing a National Rowing team career, which brought her three international podium finishes. She has since continued to lead an active lifestyle and participates in many different sports. She preaches the power of a stable body state: ‘Good nutrition and sleep with enough water supports your body in its stable state helping your recovery.’

Lysanne does not offer full body massage and rarely uses oil. She will listen to your body to figure out the source of the issue and then address it. Her extensive visceral manipulation training is the foundation of the treatments through very good knowledge of the anatomy and functions of the human body. Interspersed with fascial work, kinetic tests, taping, strengthening and all held together through the principles of biodynamic tensegrity and more to come.

Learning never ends, every year her knowledge increases and you can expect a different treatment as she figures out more effective ways to get to the source of issues. A thorough assessment and very specific techniques will follow.

DO I HAVE TO REGISTER FOR GROUP CLASSES?

Yes. You must register for our classes. Limited spots are available for each class due to covid restrictions. Group classes are separate from gym membership but can be booked without a gym membership. First come first serve. 

CAN I BRING A FRIEND IF THEY DON’T HAVE A MEMBERSHIP?

Yes. We do have a drop-in fee which gives you access to the gym. No drop-in allowed for group classes due to covid restrictions. 

Do I need a personal trainer to access the gym?

No. Every one is free to  use the weight room and other equipment without a trainer as long as you have an active membership. If  you have no prior experience in training it is highly recommended to hire a trainer, even for a short term to get you started. Certified personal trainer are a great investment to make sure you use the equipment properly, exercise safely and remain injury free.

DO YOU HAVE 24HR ACCESS?

Yes. Ask our staff how you can get 24hr access. 

DO YOU SELL SUPPLEMENTS?

Yes. We carry top of the line supplements like Optimum Nutrition, BioSteel and Muscle Meds just to name a few.
